Seven Ages of Rock

There's some really good documents that have come out the last five years. One of the best recent rock documents is BBC production Seven Ages of Rock, which gives an interesting retrospect of the whole rock culture with cool interviews with the main stars themselves. Surprisingly, Beatles was skipped and you get interviews with Keith Richards rather than Sir Paul or Ringo. Heavy metal gets a decent cut of the cake during the fourth SAoR episode Never Say Die.

Get it or steal it. Murder your old neighbor in his wheelchair. Sell your fat guinea pig to slavery to Cambodia. Promote the war in Middle East. Do it.

I think I have a copy somewhere in the stack of DVDs and CDs of the seventh part which talks about the Smiths.  smile

I'll have to dig it out and watch it.

Once they have it our online CD stores, I'll get it. It was currently on TV and I just marvelled how well that document dealt with the whole rock scene.

The Last 48 Hours of Kurt Cobain was also excellent.
