Would anyone be interested in posting a comprehensive history of Dio fandom complete with origins of message boards, cast of characters, mythology and dogma?
Contrary to some of the erroneous reports, I was NEVER banned from the DuMB for trolling, initially. Later, yes I had various usernames, but only because Warlord kept banning me (unsuccessfully). Was I causing trouble? No. Just thought I deserved to be a member of an online DIO community just like the rest. I was banned because I knew too much, period. Warlord was manipulating and deceiving fans, I voiced my disapproval, and it was on. Not to mention, Warlord was trying to use me to get interviews out of former DIO members I had an inside connection to, and I wouldn't "hook him up." Also, as was pointed out by Art in his ARRMO post, I felt fans were being overly censored. If I want to say I don't like something about DIO, a song, a member, and album, whatever, it's called an opinion, as a fan, I have the right to say I dislike something.
This is just scratching the surface of all the crazy crap that went on. Perhaps in time I will comment further....
I'm happy here! The only one I ever gated from California_Jam was the TC. Sending error message after error message to California_Jam, cranking me on my phone from some large loony bin in Philadelphia, PA and then bragging about it, sending complaints to ISPs here and there, getting me gated from the Gogg, and then he wants to come on California_Jam and tell everyone what a "crook" I am.
The only part about that that forced me to gate him was, well awl of it. And then I think I had to ban Terry and Tommy as well, I don't remember maybe I did. And Tanky maybe, you know, "the Gang."
I mean there are ppl on California_Jam that play "disagreement" with me, like Mike Stark for instance, but he knows I never GATED him for that! Gee whiz.
