Honestly,.....I don't really know all that much about him, besides the "Fighting for Tibetan Reforms" stuff.

He's pretty fascinating. I'm not an expert by any means but his story, to me, is very interesting. He's a pacifist but did advocate the war for Tibet's freedom.

Seven Years in Tibet is a good movie that encapsulates his story.

Pacifism has always interested me because of the battle between intellect and instinct.
