After listening to a few WBAI Nitshift archived shows where Scott called in, I felt they needed a little background about the Wereo. I emailed Mike Sargent and let him know that IF they think Scott is crazy, so be it, but "we're all a little crazy" and Scott has devoted a great deal of his life to the Cal Jam 74 and deserves some consideration. I let them know that Scott is giving them a great deal of free advertisement and I and others would never have started listening to Niteshift if it wasn't for Scot Lifshine. Not to mention, crazy or not crazy, Scot and the Wereo are internet icons, not just some fly by night crackpot. I included links to You Tube for them to watch and witness the Wereo for themselves!
In one of the shows that Scott called into a DJ yelled "DIO Sucks" in the background. I let them know that it's not fair to lump DIO and the Wereo, they are not one in the same. DIO fans should not be lumped in the same category as the Wereo. Apparently they have Googled searched Scott and the Wereo and connected them to AMD!!
Mike Sargent wrote me back and apologized for the "DIO Sucks" and said he really likes DIO and Heaven & Hell is one of his favorite CDs. Should we write him back and tell him that's a Black Sabbath CD or is that being too anal? LOL Just kidding, Im sure he was making reference to the DIO contribution to Sabbath!

I've been in the WBAI studio making Radio with them (not Mike Sargent) a couple of times. Once in their old place and once in their new place. In fact I even brought down some Wereo CDs and PLAYED IT OVER THEIR AIR! It was a cold Saturday morning a few years back, 2002 I think, before One day in 1974 ...
I'm a regular on WBAI and ppl ARE talking about me there. They don't forget. They can only be dumbed down to a point where they should start saying, "what's really going on here? Is the wereo THAT great?" WE know the answer HERE, this is how we live, we live for the Wereo.
I'm really glad you were able to get thru by email to Niteshift, and Wereontology can't thank you enough. I'm gonna be on the Bob Fass show tonight ripping him if he takes his phone cawls which he usually does. Ah, we have a lot of mutual friends, but the Wereo has to do what it has to do. If I have to make an Object of Ridicule of Bob as I usually do then that's what I will do.

Don't know that Mike specifically refers to you as the "greatest fil maker" but after one of your calls thats what was being said. I put that in my subject line and they knew the reference.
