Watch "The Ruins" Movie



This "Thriller" not "Horror" film squeaks by with "3 Kisses."


A group of friends on vacation decide to accompany a German stranger to an ancient Mayan archaeological ruin site and quickly find out that there's more than just each other getting under their skin!

Lovely scenery, "mostly" believable storyline (like Santa and the Easter Bunny), no big name actors, for me this film hardly made it off the ground. It was like watching a 15 min. short story, dragged out, kicking and screaming into 90 minutes. If I had to sum the movie up in one word it would be....[Insert sizzling flesh against hot campfire cookware sound]
"Excruciating!!"
The writers tried to spice it up a bit with one quick tongue in the ear scene, a delirious infidelity accusation, and a couple glimpses of teaser skin with no indication that anyone would be getting laid! One thing positive about this film is it's unpredictable plot turns and ending.

A couple things I learned from this film... 1) Ponsettias really do come from Mexico and 2) I will never own one again!

Overall I enjoyed the film but it didn't blow me away dudes!!
