I'm just going to say it. Trust is a ****ing awesome band. Bernie Bonvoisin has the funniest last name in the history of hard rock considering his friendship with legendary AC/DC frontman.
If AC/DC and Paul Di'Anno era street powered Iron Maiden are something you can listen to and feel good about, get Trust I and Repression and the Nicko McBrain baptized Savage. There's French versions of all these albums and honestly the language barrier doesen't bother me at all. Norbert "NONO" Krief has a fantastic sense for guitar riffs. Repression has amazing groove and energy and atmosphere, which is really one of those things that I'd like to have back in hard rock.
Repression belongs permanently between my copy of Highway to Hell and Killers and has now a honorary placement in my top ten hard rock album list.
Trust's early legacy of albums might be difficult to find outside France, but heck, these guys had great hard rock songs which to me are more relevant now than ever.
Other than "Prefabricated" from the Heavy Metal soundtrack, I haven't heard any of their stuff. I will have to look into the band. Is "Prefabricated" on any of the albums you mention?

Yeah, it's on their first album simply named Trust. There was a funny trade with Iron Maiden in the early eighties. Nicko McBrain jumped on Iron Maiden's payroll after Trust had released Savage and then Clive Burr was hitting the cans for Trust in 1983.
