Wouldn't every IM fan already have these. This is just a money grab. For the band. And the excuse about turning on new fans doesn't cut it. By releasing a best of maybe 3% go and purchase an album based on the hit of the best of's.

Steve Harris must have realized there are enough hardcore Maiden fans that have to own everything Maiden that will buy it. Cool cover though and it does give a new fan a way to check out the best tunes from that era. The band may just like to have some product around when they tour.

I will have to get back to this once I've properly listened these tracks. Due to an overdose and antipathy towards Bruce Dickinson's vocals I haven't been listening Iron Maiden since Brave New World.

Good for them. If any early NWOBHM band deserves to have eggs thrown at them then... wait oops!
