Movie Review: Jumper

I watched Jumper on Isabeaux's movie site. I kind of wanted to see this because of Anakin but not enough to rent and certainly not enough to go to the show. It was fine on a 6 inch box on my computer screen.

I thought this movie was pretty cool. The effects were inventive enough - nothing mind blowing but what is in this day and age? The acting was good enough - certainly parsecs better than Revenge of the Sith.

Glad you were able to get ahold of a decent version of Jumpers from Watch-Movies.net Squid.

Jumpers....Although I jumped @ the chance to see this film once it posted, I did not jump out of my seat with excitment during the viewing. I agree with Squid, the effects were cool enough but the storyline was just too far fetched. Perhaps I lack imagination?? Nah, I just prefer to imagine Anikin in those silky black PJ pants, bearing that beautiful man-chest of his in slumberland in Revenge Of The Sith!! Hayden Christensen is a pleasure to watch whether he plays the good guy or bad guy. Unfortunately this script was not strong enough to showcase his machismo to suit my fancy!

Samuel L. Jackson pissed me off in the film. Not just his acting, but the character.

Spoiler
I did find it funny that the Jedi Master and the Jedi turned Sith had a reversal of roles for this movie.

All in all, not a bad film, but very much in need of a huge set of JUMPER cables!

3 Kisses
