APOLLO 20 Mona Lisa - Fact or Fiction?

There is that theory that The Shining is an elaborate retelling of his faking the moon landing.

One thing that separated Stanley Kubrick from Hollywood is the fact that he was very stubborn of his style and the storytelling of his movies. However, some folk weren't too happy of his views about the cult lifestyle portraits on Eyes Wide Shut. Some sequences were shot in Rothschild owned lands and property.

Kubrick's family said he was extremely nervous to show it to the top network people before the movie went to the public. Spooky fact, but Cruise and Kidman divorced right after the movie and Stanley died only a couple of days after the premier night.

I remember when I saw the movie the first time, it was shown on Christmas time and the movie spoiled my whole Christmas mood, because that goddamn Popeye was fondling over Kidman after her chilling monologue to Dr Bill. I was like Cruise with my mouth open after that scene.

Stanley also had a reputation of doing heckova research before shooting his movies. So, there may be hidden elements and symbolism used in many of his movies. Some of his movies disturb me, because I always felt that they were bit more than just entertainment and that Kubrick was trying to tell something which he couldn't say aloud in public.

If someone were to be used to stage a moonlanding, they'd probably use Stanley Kubrick to shoot some extras. No computer graphics, and even today 2001 still is remarkable piece of visual art.

It wasn't good enough to be Kubrick.
